Since I'm on the run this week, I have a quick update on what's happening in the sewing studio.
The Citrus Stars projects that were started from a pile of messy citrus-themed prints and solids are on to the home stretch. The first of the two projects is now a completed quilt top and the second twin-sized quilt is becoming rows.
Not much further progress is planned for the next couple weeks.
Even so, it's never too soon to start thinking about what's next on the horizon.
For sure, since the quilt tops are starting to stack up, it's time to move on to some layering and quilting.
But, these two fat quarter bundles from QT Fabrics caught my eye. Could they have potential for a less-citrus-y version of the above.
'Nuff dreaming.
First things first: Travel for the next couple weeks. Layering and quilting for the next who-knows-how-long, then I can make decisions for what's next.
Or maybe I'll just relax a bit and get out to enjoy the approaching nice weather - also known as Summer!
