My sewing machine has been having some indigestion, particularly when I am quilting, so, several quilt tops started stacking up including another twin-sized scrappy version of the Pick-up Sticks pattern (pictured below). The quilt top has been done for a while, but the sewing machine has been skipping stitches. After a little visit to the local dealer for some TLC, the issue continues, but I may be onto the fix. We'll see.
I'm going to keep trouble shooting. I don't think it's the type of thread, or the batting I'm using, or the stitches/stitch length . . . . I will continue to adjust one variable at a time and see how it affects the stitch quality.
Meanwhile, this scrappy twin-sized quilt - I believe it's the second in the series - is nearly quilted/done. The two citrus star quilts I worked on last week are bound and need labels. And there is one more quilt top on the design wall ready to be sandwiched and quilted.
It's good to see some progress! And it would sure be nice to move on to something different!
First things first. . . and then one step at a time!
