Make eight half-square triangle units from two 5″ squares.
Place two 5″ scraps squares right sides together, then pin a Star Singles paper on top. Sew on the dotted lines and cut on the solid lines, then tear away the paper and press. Each half-square triangle will finish to 1-1/2″ square. No need to draw lines or do any extra trimming!
