Cedar Waxwings are abundant throughout most of North America, and as of May 2019, this sleek short-distance migrant is included in The FLOCK quilt block patterns. The Cedar Waxwing name is derived from their appetite for cedar berries, a favorite winter food. This bird block joined The FLOCK in May 2019.
