While it’s not needed to make this quilt, printed fusible interfacing products by Quiltsmart® make this quilt so much easier to assemble. Four panels of the Dog Gone Scrappy Interfacing make work of the scrappy Scottie dog machine applique. Instead, use a light-weight sew-through fusible web, available at quilt shops, for the machine applique dogs.
The four panels of the ScrapTherapy Small Scrap Grid do the trick on the scrappy sashing strips.
