The Northern Cardinal is common in the central and eastern US and through most of Mexico. The male and female cardinals have vastly different coloring–he is dressed from head to toe in red, she wears tans with crimson accents.
The Northern Cardinal is the state bird for Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia.
The kit includes all the materials to make the block. Each piece is precision laser cut and ready to sew. Any applique shapes are precision cut and pre-fused and ready to machine applique.
