Consider the PDF version of the Ruby-throated Hummingbird block. Choose fabrics from your stash, and follow the instructions on the PDF pattern to cut the intricate pieces accurately using printable freezer paper.
Hummingbirds are masters of precision flight, and defend their nectar sources−tube-shaped flowers and backyard sugar-water feeders−from competitors. In migration, Ruby-throats cross the Gulf of Mexico in a single flight to and from their Central American winter home.
The Ruby-throated Hummingbird joined The FLOCK in December 2022.
