During early summer, the male Scarlet Tanager is just about the brightest bird found in the eastern North American forests. Its bright scarlet head and torso contrast with its pitch black wings and tail.
Finding this striking bird can be a difficult task! Even though its red color gives it away, it hunts for insects in the uppermost sections of deciduous forests! His female counterpart is even harder to see in her greenish-gray garb.
The kit includes all the materials to make the block. Each piece is precision laser cut and ready to sew. Any applique shapes are precision cut and pre-fused and ready to machine applique.
