When we first moved into the neighborhood where we live now, it seemed like every other house had young kids of trick-or-treating age. A lot of those kids have grown up and now have little kids of their own (it's a little startling to make that statement!).
I've never been much of a collector of Halloween-themed fabric. But I have just enough quilted somethings - wall-hangings and table runners - to create a one-day Halloween atmosphere for the treat-seeking guests. Almost everything here started out as a printed panel--add a border, some hanging tabs, turn and quilt. Done!
My favorite is still Frank (a pattern from Patch Abilities) that I made many years ago as a sample for the local quilt shop.
Frank is stylin' in his flannel sport coat and striped pants. I can still remember stressing over stitching the quilted threads that make up Frank's hairstyle and those zombie eyes!
I know some folks go crazy over Halloween fabrics and projects. Are you a Halloweenie? Or not so much?
