For the last few weeks, after finishing the quilting on Barney (Barney still needs a label before going on to its new home), I've been attempting to get organized with a couple of projects - some are coming, some are going, and some are in a holding pattern.
With the weather switching to 'fall' overnight during the holiday weekend, I changed focus to organize a variety of fabric strips - Wide (about 7-8") Medium (about 5") and Narrow (about 3").
These fabrics are in a holding pattern for Heart Fulls concepts that are still in development (I told you last week, that these patterns are only just beginning!)

At the top edge of my work table are the seeds of the oft-delayed Hawaii Cruise project. The project is a mystery that will be revealed in January during the cruise (the cruise is full, but I think wait listers are still being accepted). It's been so long since I created the pattern, it's a bit of a mystery to me too, and I've been spending some quality sewing time this week getting re-acquainted with it.

Speaking of Heart Fulls patterns, this may very well be the beginnings of the next heart pattern release.
I'm waiting for a wool delivery to begin the kitting and final pattern details, and it'll be ready to roll, I suspect before the end of this month.
I think this one is very cute with lots of potential to add embellishment.
As if to distract me from the chaotic organizing, these three pieces from a new line from QT Fabrics called Brielle Garden arrived at my door last week.
I just love these shades of brown and blue together, so I've been happily dreaming about what they will become!

Peaches is also very excited about all the hubbub, she has stepped in to supervise . . .
