Red Breasted Nuthatch

The Red-breasted Nuthatch was added to The FLOCK in February 2020. It can be found in nearly all of the continental United States and most of Canada. Unlike its white-breasted cousin, a frequent visitor to backyard feeders, the Red-breasted Nuthatch is more likely to be found foraging for insects−-its favorite meal-−in forests.
